Chapter Three – THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD
God is faithful. He keeps every promise, and He is our Rock.
God’s grace is greater than our sin.
If we experienced justice, then all of us would spend an eternity apart from our holy God because of our rebellion against Him. Instead, God offers us mercy through the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection with victory over the grave. Not one person is righteous through their own efforts. No one is accepted into heaven because they were a good enough person. That is a very deceptive lie.
Our pride wants to believe we earned righteousness.
The truth is God treats us far better than we deserve. Salvation is not through our works, so no one can boast. We are justified, a legal term meaning declared righteous, through Jesus. He takes our sins and gives us His holiness. We have eternal security through the gospel. Therefore, we live with immense gratitude and tell everyone the good news.
Just Choose Hope

HOPE POINT
God is the source of our righteousness which was accomplished by Jesus through love.

PRAYER
Faithful God, You keep all of Your promises. You never lie or mislead us. Your word is a light unto our path. Your reassurance gives us security. Your perspective renews our minds. In a chaotic world, Jesus, You are our peace. There is no other Messiah and Savior. We worship You Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We praise You now with reverence and awe. In Jesus glorious name we pray, amen.
