It Is Time To Soar Together!
Welcome to 84 Days of Soaring as we journey through the book of Acts with the indestructible hope of Jesus.
You will find a series of written daily devotions and videos throughout this website section. There are also small group questions and weekend sermons.
This is an immersive experience in God’s word and presence. We reject the narrative of hopelessness. God is moving in our hearts, homes, churches, and cities.
Eagles do not flap their wings repeatedly but harness the power of the wind. The Holy Spirit will empower you to new heights.
Crows peck at the eagles, but the eagles respond by soaring higher into altitudes where crows will not ascend.
If you have been sensing that God wants to do a new work in you and through you, then you are in the right place.
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.
The Just Choose Hope Trilogy (IGNITE, UNITE, and TAKE FLIGHT)
This hope journey together began with 28 Days of Hope (IGNITE) as God ignited a fire in our souls. Then God strengthened our relationships with each other during 12 Weeks of Unity (UNITE).
Now we begin 84 Days of Soaring (TAKE FLIGHT).
Those previous series laid a foundation as Jesus set our houses on the rock, not the sand. You will find inspiring interviews and other resources as well in our Hope Academy.
The hope of God is available, relational, and habitual. We are returning to God and His calling on our lives. We are shifting from cultural Christianity to Biblical Christianity. We are overcoming hope thieves. We are abiding with Jesus and receiving God’s hope gifts.
We are cultivating habits that are saturated with hope. We want to grow and become more like Jesus. God wants to fill us with His overflowing and infinite hope.
The hope of God is greater than the challenges we face. Instead of silently retreating in fear and discouragement, we move forward with love and truth to glorify God together.
As we begin this journey of 84 days together, there is a sense of excitement about what God is going to do.
If you have a desire to grow in your faith, strengthen your relationships, gain wisdom, cultivate new habits, experience more peace, and live daily with purpose and passion, then you are in the right place.
Jesus said that we are the light of the world. It’s time that we live as ambassadors of Jesus, because that is who we are. Let’s rely on God daily and bring out the best in each other.
What Can You Expect?
For each of the 84 days, there are daily written and video devotionals for you as you seek God.
In addition to Scripture and prayer, there is a video that covers the Bible passage. The written piece is connected to the video devotional to help you go deeper with God.
I challenge you to invest in your relationship with God and take 28 minutes each day to meet with Him over the next 84 days. Yes, 28 minutes a day is my recommendation and challenge.
It means you probably need to reduce the time you spend each day on screens. On average, we spend many hours a day watching devices and televisions.
Cut down on your screen time daily so you can create time in your schedule. It is more about your priorities because we always make time for what we value. You will not regret this new habit and rhythm.
Find others who will do the same. God will encourage and empower you in transformative ways as you seek Him.
