DAY FIFTY
There is a famine of Scripture in our land as each generation is becoming more Biblically illiterate.
We need more Bereans. They were eager for the Word of God.
We have access to so many Bibles, commentaries, Bible dictionaries, apologetics, videos, libraries, bookstores, and tools. We can order them all online, too, for convenience. Yet without a desire, those treasures are ignored.
The Bereans examined the Scripture because it was their ultimate truth source. They were not deceived and could quickly recognize false teaching.
Knowing God’s Word protects you and helps you identify a counterfeit.

They cultivated a daily habit of spending time in God’s Word. During these 84 days, we are being intentional together. In homes, it’s powerful when families read Scripture together.
In churches, the Bible should be taught in every setting. Many houses of God have sadly drifted from the Bible, which is our spiritual nourishment. If these 84 Days of Soaring are a blessing, invite someone else to join you and share how you are growing in your faith.

PRAYER
Father, we worship You in spirit and truth. Thank You for Your majestic voice and tender whispers. Please help us to discern false teaching and deceptive lies. Help us to snatch others out of the pit of confusion and despair. Thank You that Your word is a lamp on a dark path. You are truth, Jesus, and we pray in Your name. Amen.
