DAY TWENTY
The last thing you want to do is to resist and grieve the Holy Spirit. This became a pattern for the religious leaders and those who were against Jesus.
There were generations who ignored God’s word, rejected His messengers, trampled on His commands, and lived in self-righteousness.
When you decide to talk about and live for Jesus, there will be those who oppose you.
Forgive everyone fully and reject bitterness.
At the same time, God may lead you to rebuke those who are rebelling against the Lord. Warnings have an urgency because everyone’s lifestyle, beliefs, and soul are significant.
Warnings are a direct attempt to help people come to their senses. Warnings carry hope because there is still time to repent. Rebukes can redeem. Jesus was overflowing with hope and frequently rebuked people. Speak the truth in love.

Love includes holding people accountable and communicating God’s standards.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
What do you see that dishonors God in our culture?
How is God leading you to confront rebellion?
How can you be part of the breakthrough we need in our homes, churches, and cities?
PRAYER
Gracious God, we do not walk in fear and timidity. We want more than the status quo. We pray our hearts will be receptive to the Holy Spirit. We need discernment in how to challenge people. We do not want to see people stuck in sin. Please rescue and restore. We want to be part of the solution. May the turnaround start in our families. We offer ourselves to You. You are the potter, and we are the clay. We ask this in Your holy name, Jesus. Amen.
