WEEK 11 – COURAGE
DAY SEVENTY-FOUR
Everyone needs Jesus, and most people are willing to have a respectful conversation about Jesus.
Sometimes people are far more ready to listen than we are to share. Agrippa had heard about Paul, and he wanted to hear more.
To hear about Paul was to hear about Jesus. For Paul, “to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). There was no person or result to fear. Agrippa was feared by many, but Paul always looked to Jesus, which put Agrippa in his place.
You have friends, relatives, acquaintances, co-workers, and neighbors who want to hear more.
Have conversations about God during the week at home. Take relationship risks. Hope grows when you bring it to others. Share both what you believe and why you believe it.
Give away Bibles and links to websites. Ask questions about the other person’s spiritual upbringing and current beliefs. Stop assuming people are not interested. God knows they are.

PRAYER
Father, You are trustworthy. There are so many situations in life that we will never have again. Help us, we pray, to make the most of the opportunities. People are often more ready to hear about Jesus than we are to share. Guide us to people who are interested in You, Lord. Amen.
