After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

DAY FORTY-SIX
Paul is eager to serve Jesus, but he keeps experiencing closed doors. He wants to enter various cities, but the Holy Spirit makes it clear those are not the locations where God wants Paul.
It’s good to have a posture of being ready and available to use your gifts and lead people to Jesus.
Paul is overflowing with hope, but He needs God’s wisdom and direction. Do not be discouraged when God redirects you. God will protect you from dating or marrying the wrong person.
Jesus will guide you and prevent you from going down the wrong road or career path if you listen to Him. If the apostle Paul had some uncertainty and static on the line when he prayed, then there will be times when we are not sure which path to take. God will provide clarity, but the process can involve surprises.
If you stay the course, you will discover what has your name on it. Keep listening to God and walk through the specific doors He opens and approves.

PRAYER
Omnipotent God, You reign. The earth and all who are in it belong to You. Thank You for having a good plan. Thank You for caring about our choices and options. Send us exactly where You want us to go. We do not want to move forward if You do not approve. We need You to lead us, Jesus, and we pray in Your name. Amen.
