DAY FORTY-ONE
How you handle success will reveal your heart. Be prepared for when God blesses you and does a remarkable work through you.
The crowds will swell, the comments will pour in, your social media posts will be liked repeatedly, your bank account may grow, your influence will increase, the awards will be received, and your evaluations will be glowing.
At those times, redirect the praise to God. May Jesus increase and may we decrease. People will want to celebrate you, and compliments are fine, but do not let it go too far.
God has given you every good thing, and you are saved by grace, so He deserves the glory.
The crowds in one verse want to worship Paul and in the next verse they stoned him, trying to kill him. The rollercoaster ride of public opinion can swing drastically. Jesus is your Rock. Walk humbly with your God.

PRAYER
Gracious God, with You, we can step into the most difficult places and bring healing and hope. When lives are changed and people want to give us the glory, we pray we will be humble and speak of Your goodness. You are the only hero of our story. Jesus, may You increase, and may we decrease. Thank You for Your love, Lord. Amen.
