The most inspiring messages can come from the most difficult times. God can use pain to fuel purpose and passion. God does His greatest work in the darkest moments.
There will be occasions and situations when God takes over in your life and does something beautiful in a very bleak setting. Near the end of his life, Stephen is communicating from his heart about the indestructible hope of Jesus.
Final words are memorable.
Before Stephen is killed, he shares the reason for his faith, the story of God’s faithfulness, and invites everyone to follow our faithful Savior.
Make the most of opportunities. You have one life. It passes quickly.
Then you come before Your Maker. Live in such a way that you will look back and your legacy will be all about Jesus.

PRAYER
Glorious God, we want to soar. Not only in the convenient and familiar ways, but in the uncomfortable and contested ways too. All we really care about is You, Jesus. Please put some steel in our backbones and fire in our souls. In the matchless name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we ask these things. Amen.
