DAY SEVEN
What people need is often deeper than what people want. This crippled beggar asked for money but received so much more. Money can be a blessing and meets practical needs.
In the name of Jesus, Peter healed the man, and he experienced the joy of the Lord. Physical healing is a blessing too, but the greatest need of the man was to experience and worship Jesus.
Peter led with compassion and took action. God works on many levels at the same time. Caring for people includes their souls.
Through the Holy Spirit the disciples were going to change the world.
Do not despise small beginnings.
Peter started where he was, used what he had, and did what he could. Go to people where they are. When you serve, you will meet many needs. Remember our greatest need is a relationship with God. The power of God leads to healing.

PRAYER
Father God, please help me to see people the way You see them. Break my heart for what breaks Your heart. All I have belongs to You. I want to be generous, instead of hoarding and playing it safe. I want to bless people every day. In Your name I pray, Lord. Amen.
