DAY SIX
In life, you decide what you are going to do in all settings and situations. You decide what your top priorities are. You decide what hills you are willing to die on too.
The followers of Jesus had a shared purpose and passion. Worship, Scripture, prayer, fellowship, and outreach marked their lives. It didn’t ultimately matter which location or the amount of persecution, these choices were consistent.
Let’s move past shallow commitments and good intentions.
Let’s move past shallow commitments and good intentions. A devoted church is a faithful and dangerous church in the best sense. The world is often influencing the church today more than the church is influencing the world.
Following Jesus should never be compartmentalized to the four walls of the church or a half-hearted endeavor. Meditate on this passage and make the shifts God is leading you to make.

PRAYER
Father, I want to slow down and listen to You more closely. Jesus, I want to take up my cross daily to follow You. Holy Spirit, please help me to live courageously and faithfully, no matter what the cost. I am deciding to find and join teams of people with a shared purpose and passion. With gratitude and clarity, I pray in Your name Jesus. Amen.
