DAY SEVENTY-SIX
In a situation that could feel hopeless, Paul focused on hope.
The God of hope is still on the throne. The promises of God are trustworthy.
Jesus came in fulfillment of all the Messianic prophecies. The resurrection is real.
There is no better news than Jesus overcoming the grave.
God had changed Paul’s life. In a legal setting, Paul included both cognitive facts and words from the heart. It would be fascinating to watch this on video or live television. Paul carried a historical awareness.
The New Testament and Old Testament are all God’s word and united beautifully by the Holy Spirit. Paul was a convinced man based on historical and personal evidence.
He did not deserve a guilty verdict. He had a sense that God is using the long legal journey primarily as the opportunity to share about the Lord.
Your difficult circumstances might be your greatest opportunity to share about the infinite hope of Jesus.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, Your story and hand in history is evident. We research the facts that lead to our faith in You. We always want to be ready to give an answer for the hope that we have in You, Jesus. Let us be ready to answer questions and objections as we share Your truth, Lord. Amen.
