DAY TWENTY-FIVE
Trust is at the core of all relationships. Following Jesus means that we surrender the leadership of our lives to our Lord. This is real worship.
Cultural Christianity is the result of trying to maintain control. The bottom line is we often trust ourselves more than we trust God. We would rather conform to the patterns and priorities of the world than of the word.
The resurrected Jesus appeared to Saul and communicated with him. Saul was humbled by the light from heaven and the majestic voice of Jesus. “Go to Damascus first,” then God would show Saul what to do.
It was a step of faith and obedience. In Damascus, God prepared Ananias to disciple Saul. God goes ahead of us. He is weaving together a masterpiece.
Our stories are unfolding.
God knows when, how, and where to unveil His plans. Walk in the light you have because more is on the way.

God, we want to do the difficult things well. We know Your assignments cause us to rely on You. We do not see the full picture like You do. We want to listen to Your voice, Jesus, and be people You can trust. Use us, we pray, to reach and disciple people who need a second chance. We pray this for Your glory and name, Jesus. Amen.
