He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.

WEEK 8 – DISCIPLESHIP
DAY FIFTY-FOUR
Priscilla and Aquila took Apollos under their wing and taught him how to walk with Jesus.
It is the most loving thing you can do. Meeting physical needs is significant, but spiritual needs are for eternity.
Our greatest need is to know God.
Apollos had zeal but needed more knowledge. Married couples can serve together in special ways. Opening your heart and home is a step of faith. It’s what Jesus calls us all to do.
Mentor someone and be mentored by someone. Many believers attend church for years but disciple no one. Jesus’ ministry was centered on discipleship and that was His great commission to us.
Pass along what God and others have taught you. How to worship, read the Bible, pray, fast, share your story, lead others to Jesus, discover your spiritual gifts, be generous, handle conflict, and fully forgive are some of the foundational pieces of following Jesus.
Learn these and teach them to others. Have a vision beyond yourself. The hope of God is caught and taught. God’s kingdom is an unstoppable movement, around the world, reaching one person at a time.

PRAYER
Father God, thank You that we are in Your family forever. We want to be faithful in making disciples. We shift from being self-consumed to laying down our lives for Your sake, Lord. Jesus, Your vision is multiplication through relationships. We reject all excuses and being stagnant. The harvest is now, and we are ready. Thank You, Jesus, for every opportunity. Amen.
