When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.

DAY FORTY-SEVEN
When Lydia, who had a successful business, decided to follow Jesus, she was baptized in water. Not only her, but her entire household.
Salvation comes through faith in Christ alone.
It is through grace, an undeserved gift; received, not achieved. If you have never made that decision, it is the very best choice you will ever make.
You can begin a relationship with Jesus now. Your next step to grow in your relationship with God is baptism, which is a public declaration that Jesus is your Savior.
Jesus was baptized and tells all Christians to be baptized as well. There is joy and a sense of urgency with water baptism. Don’t procrastinate or make excuses.
Let your church or pastor know you are ready. Your step of faith and honoring the Lord will inspire people. It is a picture of Jesus’ death and resurrection as you are raised to newness of life.
