DAY TWENTY-NINE
Peter was willing to follow God’s leading, even when it initially did not make sense.
He had a renewed hope because he had confidence in God. Sometimes we are well intentioned and off base. You have blind spots. We all do.
When God is doing something new, it includes some hope shifts.
Our paradigms need to be recalibrated to align with heaven. Our pride does not enjoy being corrected and instructed by God. We all need clarity and courage from the Holy Spirit.
There is tremendous peace and joy when you know you are doing exactly what God wants you to do and your name is on it. Unnecessary dietary restrictions do not make us more holy. Staying in our house when God tells us to go doesn’t feel comfortable.
Stop leaning on your own understanding and trust God as you adventure to new places and into new relationships and conversations. If the Good Shepherd is in it, you should be too.

PRAYER
Omniscient God, You are the One who determines right and wrong. You decide what is clean and unclean. We want to honor You and Your word. Thank You for going ahead of us and showing us the way. We are ready to break cultural norms for Your glory, Jesus. Amen.
