DAY TWELVE
The resurrection of Jesus was core to the community of Christians. Far more than a theological fact, it propelled their decisions and actions daily.
When the resurrection is the foundation of your relationships, you become unselfish, have the right perspective about material possessions, live with compassion, display unity, live counter-culturally, and lead many to Jesus.
You simply won’t have those results from independence, isolation, or selfishness. The materialistic dream is often described as more for me, but the vision of Jesus is to lay down your life for His glory with real love.
The root produces the fruit.
Those who abide with Jesus are overflowing with encouragement and hope. Let us move together towards generosity. Faithfulness to Jesus as we love one another is our ultimate goal. “God’s grace was powerfully at work in them all” is a beautiful testimony to a stingy world.

How can we become more like Jesus in our relationships?
What are you willing to sacrifice to be united with your brothers and sisters?
PRAYER
God, in the Trinity we see unity that inspires. We are made in Your image. Forgive us for our hatred, division, strife, resentment, and bitterness. How will people see Jesus in us when we are in petty conflict? We repent. Please heal our families and churches. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
