Chapter Five – PEACE AND HOPE
There is no condemnation for those who believe in Jesus. We are saved by the grace of God. Sin entered the world through Adam. The wages of sin are death. Thanks be to Jesus who is fully human and fully God.
He was sinless and died in our place.
He gives us His righteousness and takes our sins upon Him. What an exchange! What a Savior! Jesus is the second Adam because he reversed the curse. His righteousness is greater than the sin of humanity.
His power is greater than death.
His hope is indestructible, personal, and available. Even in suffering, God transforms us to be more like Jesus. No one can snatch us out of God’s hand. We always know that Jesus loves us because He demonstrated it on the cross. God thinks you are worth dying for and His actions are proof. We have peace, joy, and the assurance of salvation because of Jesus. We are not ashamed of our Lord in any way. We want to be faithful to God and boldly glorify Jesus.
Just Choose Hope

HOPE POINT
The grace of Jesus is greater than the power and penalty of sin.

PRAYER
Gracious God, thank You for the assurance of salvation. Thank You that Your wrath is satisfied through the sacrifice of Jesus. Thank You that the grace of Jesus is greater than Adam’s sin and our sin nature. Thank You that we are new creations in Christ because we are born again through You Lord. Thank You, Father God, that we are adopted into Your family forever. We know that Your grace has become our story, and we will lead other people to You, Jesus. We pray in Your matchless name Lord, amen.
