Chapter Twelve – LIVING FOR GOD
Real worship is to surrender to God and offer your life and service to Him. God’s kindness leads us to repentance and His mercy motivates us to live for His glory.
To live is Christ, and to die is gain.
We have a short amount of time before eternity to run the good race. We can lead people to Jesus now, but it’s one thing that we can’t do in heaven. God has given you a spiritual gift. Identify and exercise it to build up other people. Look to serve and not just be served. Receive and give the hope of Jesus daily where you live, work, learn, and play. When you truly love God, you will love your neighbors with the love of Jesus. Practice hospitality. Forgive fully. Pray fervently.
Share the gospel boldly and humbly.
The Holy Spirit will help you at every turn in the journey. Our role is to be faithful and trust God with the results. Don’t give people too much power in your life. You can’t please everyone. Keep your eyes on Jesus. God’s power is evident in our weaknesses. Spend time with Jesus, and He will give you compassion, clarity, and courage.
Just Choose Hope

HOPE POINT
Because of God’s grace and mercy, we honor God by loving people like Jesus.
