Chapter Eleven – THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL
God’s plans and purposes are full of wisdom and wonder. God always has the final say, and Jesus brings the ultimate victory.
We are not defeated or discouraged because of the promises and presence of God.
There is a remnant of Jews who follow Jesus. We live in a dispensation when Gentiles are rapidly responding to the gospel. We pray that Israel will be saved, and look forward to more Jews realizing that Jesus is the Messiah. The story is not over.
We need to share the gospel with Jews and Gentiles.
We are all adopted into God’s family through Jesus. Paul describes the metaphor of an olive tree, and the Gentiles are the branches that have been grafted in by the grace of God. This should lead to gratitude and humility. Let’s follow Jesus together and spread the gospel around the world. God’s call is irrevocable.
All glory belongs to God for His matchless plan of salvation.
Paul concludes the first eleven chapters that are theologically robust with an overflowing hope and praise. Scripture leads us to Jesus and worship.

PRAYER
Holy God, You are worthy to be praised. You made the earth and everything in it. How majestic is Your name! We bend our knees in surrender to You. You treat us much better than we deserve. Thank You Jesus for dying for our sins. You have demonstrated Your love in the most powerful way. We yearn for the day that we will be with You forever and see You face to face. Until then, may we be faithful to reach Jews and Gentiles with the gospel. We pray this in Your name and for Your glory Jesus, amen.
