Book Of Psalms

Let Us Pray

The Book of Psalms inspires us to praise and seek God with all our hearts.

Let’s pray to God together as families. Let’s return to God with purpose and passion. Let’s worship God with trust and surrender. Let’s commit to God with devotion and determination.

We want to know Jesus and abide with Him daily. Let’s rediscover and receive the indestructible and infinite hope of Jesus.

The Book of Psalms includes a wide range of prayers, songs, and situations. A close relationship with God is more significant than our circumstances or location. God wants us to be authentic when we pray.

Trust and communication are the core of every healthy relationship. Come to God with humility and honesty. Draw near to God with reverence and awe.

Jesus died for our sins and rose from the grave. We, however, drift from God and His calling. We need to repent and reform. Our culture is saturated with distractions. We want to give God our attention and devotion.

We also have blind spots and roam unintentionally. We confess our sins. The good news is that Jesus is merciful, and God’s power is evident in our weaknesses.

Jesus is the Messiah and Savior of the world. We can follow His leadership in every aspect of our lives. There is no reason to be ashamed of Jesus, even in spiritually dark places. If God is for us, who will we fear? The gospel is for everyone.

A deeper dive in the Book of Psalms leads to a deeper faith in the Lord. God’s love, holiness, and faithfulness are evident in every chapter of this book. God wants to fill our minds with clarity, our hearts with kindness, and our souls with passion.

We are designed to receive God’s Word and share it with others. As a community of faith, we intentionally build each other up. We serve one another and pray with each other often. Read Scripture, be a doer of God’s Word, and pass it along to others.

Let the Book of Psalms dwell in you richly and renew your mind. Be creative and courageous with spreading the Word of God where you live, work, learn, and play.

The world has been influencing the church more than the church has been influencing the world. Share what you are learning from Scripture with others. May our homes and churches become the most hope-filled places in our communities. The world is bold about sin, now the people of God need to be bold about Jesus.

God is with you and as you build up God’s kingdom and transform your city. You never know who will respond to God and decide to walk with Jesus. Everyone reaches one.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

Psalm 100:4

What Is The Format?

We want to read all the chapters in the Book of Psalms together as we grow deeper with God. We will focus on one psalm every week for elevenweeks. We will read two psalms a day during this series.

There’s a chart to help you stay on track. Hope increases when we spend time with God in Scrioture. Be devoted to God’s Word as you draw near to our gracious Savior.

This journey in Scripture includes personal time with God, a teaching video, discussion with friends and family, as well as the weekly sermon. All these elements work together in a transformative way as we become more like Jesus together.

The Holy Spirit wants to do something new in our lives. We encourage you to read the two scheduled psalms daily. Meditate on God’s Word. The Bible is living and active, and it revives our souls. God will pour out His grace in fresh ways as you make new decisions to seek and serve the Lord.

Jesus calls us to glorify Him publicly. Do not put your light under a bowl. God is moving in and beyond the walls of the church building. It’s time for the entire body of Christ to participate.

We challenge you to invest in your relationship with God. 21 minutes a day is both our recommendation and challenge. Restoration can’t be rushed. The Book of Pslams both comforts and convicts us, clarifies our mission, and sets our souls on fire.

You will not regret this new habit and rhythm. Find others who will do the same. God will encourage and empower you in significant ways as you honor Him. You will overcome opposition through God’s Spirit and Word.

What Can You Expect?

At the end of this series, you will have a firm grasp of the Book of Psalms. Every week you can share what you learn with people through texts, emails, conversations, and giving away Bibles. Take relationship risks and gospel risks with your family and friends.

The environment in our homes changes when we read Scripture and pray together. Start doing this together and strengthen your foundation and relationships. The Book of Psalms will help you discover how to pray and strengthen your relationship with God. It’s time to receive God’s shalom in your home.

The spiritual temperature will rise when you seek God. More of God’s presence brings love, healing, unity, hope, and joy. God is going to give you a new courage and a greater faithfulness as you seek Him.

Reject distraction and excuses. God is calling you to step out of what is comfortable and grow in your faith. Be sure to pass along what God is teaching you.

If you love Jesus, feed people with spiritual nourishment. We need more than food for our stomachs. We want to enjoy living water and overflow with God’s grace and truth. The Book of Psalms invites you to walk closely with God and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
