PSALM 5
David is in a difficult situation, surrounded by enemies who want to harm him. He learns to seek God in the morning consistently.
He pursues God with deep and honest prayers.
David learns how to shift from fear to faith. His confidence is in God’s faithful love. While the ungodly boast and are proud, David humbles himself and worships God. There’s encouragement and hope to receive in the name of the Lord.
The inner battle of trusting God and a good attitude is where victory begins.
Make it a priority to begin your day with God, spending time listening to Jesus and reading the Word. God hears and cares when you cry out to Him. Do the next right thing as you walk forward with God. Jesus is our Good Shepherd who guides and provides for us.

God prevails over evil and blesses anyone who will humbly and consistently seek Him.

PRAYER
Father God, You reign over all the earth. You made the world and always have the final word. We trust You, and we need You. May You arise, and Your enemies be scattered. You are our top priority, and we pray to You with all our hearts. We reject distractions and discouragement. You have our attention, affection, and devotion. We will give You the glory for all the victories we experience. In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.
