Remember all that God has done for you. Gratitude begets gratitude.
Cultivate the habit daily of sincerely thanking God.
Don’t take blessings for granted, become entitled, or be self-consumed. Without gratitude, we become complacent and spiritually sleepy. Without gratitude, we drift into sin. Without gratitude, we are grumpy and drift into isolation. Giving thanks to God is intentional. David was aware of God’s mercy, forgiveness, healing, protection, provision, revelation, and promises.
God wants to fill us with an overflowing hope and passion in our souls.
The goodness of God is the foundation of our lives and the reason we live. We praise God because He is worthy. Our Maker, Sustainer, Redeemer, and Savior is our first love. Reject casual worship and devotion. God has done too much for us to stay quiet and intimidated. We shine God’s light in the darkness.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, You are the source of every good thing in our lives. You treat us far better than we deserve. For endless days, we will sing Your praise. We will tell the next generation about Your great works and compassion. Your forgiveness and pardon are real. Thank You, Jesus, for dying for our sins. We will bring the gospel to a dying world that is searching for contentment and love. Jesus, You are the answer. We worship You, Lord, and pray in Your mighty name, amen.
