EPHESIANS 2:11-22

Unity glorifies God. The Trinity is the perfect example of community. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are eternally equal. We are relational beings, with God and each other.

God has called us to walk in unity.

Jesus is our peace and prayed for us to be fully united. Jews and Gentiles have a history of hostility. There were walls of bitterness and animosity. Jesus transforms our hearts. Because Jesus forgives us, we forgive one another. Because Jesus serves us, we serve one another. Because Jesus loves us, we love one another. Because Jesus encourages us, we encourage one another.

Jesus is the basis for how we treat each other.

God brings breakthroughs in our lives. His grace is radical. When we follow Jesus, we begin to see people the way He sees people. God’s kingdom and family are diverse. We want to live and love like Jesus. May it be done on earth as it is in heaven.
