BOOK OF EPHESIANS
PART FIVE: GOD’S MARVELOUS PLAN
READ: EPHESIANS 3:1-13
DEVOTIONAL
EPHESIANS 3:1-13
We are saved by grace, through faith in Jesus. God’s grace sustains us every day. God’s grace strengthens us as we serve Jesus.
God has given us spiritual gifts and opportunities to build up His kingdom.
Paul was religious and lost. He knew the Bible, but He didn’t know Jesus. He had an encounter with our resurrected Lord. Paul was a violent man who violently persecuted Christians. Jesus transformed Paul’s life, and he became a preacher of the Gospel. God called Paul to reach the Gentiles. Paul traveled and started new churches, led many people to Jesus, and wrote many books in the Bible. He suffered immensely but remained grateful to God.
You have a calling.
Abide with Jesus and be filled with the Holy Spirit. You are God’s ambassador where you live, work, learn, and play. Your calling takes you out of your comfort zone. God gives you boldness to share the good news about Jesus.
