BOOK OF EPHESIANS

PART SEVEN: WALK IN UNITY

READ: EPHESIANS 4:1-16

DEVOTIONAL

EPHESIANS 4:1-16

God designed us to live in unity and enjoy our relationships with Him and each other. Sin wants to kill our unity and peace. Unity requires humility. Most people like the concept of unity, but it includes many challenging realities. Who wants to be kind, forgiving, patient, and understanding? The list is smaller.

We need Jesus to have real unity.

He is the one who changes our hearts and fills us with His love daily. When Jesus is at the center of our relationships, marriages have restoration, parents and kids are respectful, churches are healthy families, and the body of Christ glorifies the Lord. Maturity leads to unity.

The more we become like Jesus, the more unity increases.

God has called you to build up the body of Christ, not tear it down. Your words and acts of kindness make a difference. Be intentional about encouraging people and meeting needs. Be eager to serve. Let’s be faithful to God together.

Just Choose Hope

HOPE POINT

We are the body of Christ, and we follow Jesus together.

PRAYER

Father, we live in awe of you. You are our shield, strength, and song. There is infinite joy in Your presence. We come to Your throne of grace. Our deepest identity is being your sons and daughters. We are secure in You. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, You surround us with Your love. Forgive us for our rebellion and doubts. Forgive us for not telling more people about You, Jesus. We pray for unity and courage, in Your name, Jesus, amen.
