BOOK OF EPHESIANS

PART SIX: A PRAYER FOR UNITY

READ: EPHESIANS 3:14-21

DEVOTIONAL

EPHESIANS 3:14-21

God is strong, and God is loving. God empowers you through the ministry of the Holy Spirit who dwells within you. God gives you a deep security because nothing can separate you from the love of Jesus. The presence and love of God are our greatest need, and God provides in abundance.

God knows us completely and loves us perfectly.

God pursues you before you ever know or respond to Him. Jesus demonstrates His love by laying down His life for us. Substitutionary atonement includes Jesus taking our place on the cross. He is human, sinless, and fully God. He takes our sin and gives us His righteousness in this great exchange. God’s power is demonstrated through His resurrection and victory over death. God does more for us than we can even describe.

Our minds can’t even comprehend all the blessings in heaven we will enjoy for eternity.

We worship God with reverence and awe. We worship God in spirit and truth. There is no one like our God. Angels bow before His throne. What a Savior is Jesus, whom we worship and serve.

Just Choose Hope

PRAYER

God, You are good, and Your love endures forever. We’re designed to receive and give Your hope daily, where we live, work, learn, and play. Thank You for opening doors no one can close. You make a way when it looks like a dead end. We worship You with reverence and awe. Your miracles inspire us. With wonder, we seek You. Nothing is impossible for You. You are doing more than we can describe. Jesus, we pray in Your wonderful name, amen.
