CONCLUSION

On Mission: Faithful To Jesus

Congratulations on completing this seven-week discipleship journey. This is not the finish line, it’s the start (Matthew 28:18-20). Now it’s time to spiritually multiply for God’s glory. We are growing together in our relationship with God. With the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, we are eliminating the gap between what God has called us to do and what we are doing.

We need a discipleship movement.

Celebrate how Jesus is transforming your life in these three significant areas. Gap 1: We are called with Scripture to read it, do it, and share it (Ezra 7:10). Gap 2: We are called to make disciples who make disciples (2 Timothy 2:2). Gap 3: We are called to saturate our cities with the gospel (Acts 1:8). We need God and each other to be faithful. What you have learned, you are now going to intentionally pass along to others.

Biblical Christianity

This seven-week journey is designed as a springboard to deepen our devotion to Jesus (Revelation 3:20). It is catalytic and transformative. It changes the trajectory of our lives. We trust the Holy Spirit and Scripture (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We want to shift from cultural Christianity to Biblical Christianity.

We walk in the truth and the light (3 John 1:4). We reject procrastination, laziness, excuses, and sin. We want to follow Jesus together and be devoted to the Lord (Hebrews 12:1-3). Now that you have completed this series, it’s time to lead others through the seven-week journey with Jesus (Matthew 4:19). Here are your next steps: pray about who could be in your group, list all the potential names, make the invitations, set a start date, and meet weekly.

God is with you and goes ahead of you.

It’s time for intentional discipleship and kingdom multiplication. This will include reliance on God and bold steps of faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). God will be glorified, and everyone in your group will be blessed (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Making Disciples

Jesus is the head of the church and is leading a global and supernatural movement (Colossians 1:18). The kingdom of God is unstoppable and eternal (Psalm 145:13). Jesus wants all His disciples to participate in making disciples.

This is our calling and purpose.

We joyfully serve and honor God as we love like Jesus. We love God with all our hearts and love our neighbors (Matthew 22:37-39). You will have spiritual generations as you are fruitful in the most significant way. Have confidence in God and His promised victories (Matthew 16:18).

Multiplication is God’s method as we make disciples who make disciples.

Instead of being stubbornly independent, we walk humbly with God and each other (Micah 6:8). Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His followers need to answer His call in this generation (Hebrews 13:8). God is for you with every step and conversation (Romans 8:31). May we receive and give the infinite hope of Jesus where we live, work, learn, and play.
