Philip was listening to God, who led him to an Ethiopian man who was spiritually curious. They talked about a passage from the book of Isaiah. Philip explained the Scripture, and the man decided to follow Jesus. The gospel is the fact that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the grave. The gospel is the power of God and salvation for all who believe. Be unashamed of the gospel. Philip was ready to share what he knew. Evangelism is bringing the good news to people and trusting God with the results. God places people in your path who want to talk about Jesus. Don’t miss your opportunities.

PRAYER
Gracious God, You are always working. We love to join you as You transform lives. Your Word is living and active. We want to start meaningful conversations. Scripture is our spiritual food. We want to be generous and feed people. The Bible is our nourishment. We know Your Word never returns void of its purpose. We ask for Your help to know those who need encouragement. We do this all in Your name, Jesus, amen.
