Timothy is walking by faith as he serves in Ephesus. Timothy has learned from his mentor, Paul. It’s time for Timothy to lead in Ephesus. God has prepared him for this assignment. There are false teachings and controversies in the city, and many have wandered away from God. Love includes truth. We choose faith over fear. Exercising our faith includes opening our mouths. Jesus calls us to be counter-cultural.

VICTORY
Speak truth clearly in a context of confusion and lies.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, truth honors You. Thank You, Jesus, that You are the truth. Thank You, God, that Scripture is our source of truth. We won’t be silent about the truth. Love includes truth. We reject false teaching and deception. Please give us the boldness to be clear and sincere as we communicate. We don’t fear people because our eyes are on You. We pray in Your name, Lord, amen.
