Read Esther 4:12-3:11 and then watch the DAY SEVENTEEN video.
King Xerxes, with Haman’s assistance, made a decree to annihilate, kill, and destroy the Jewish people. It was evil and wrong. Innocent lives were threatened. Mordecai and Esther needed to respond with courage. Don’t be indifferent and live in denial. Trusting God usually includes unselfish and bold action. Trusting God increases hope. It starts as an inward decision and leads to a clear path forward. Be faithful and trust God with the results.
What is one difficult area of your life that you will decide to trust God in a new way today?
VICTORY
Trusting God in the worst circumstances.
PRAYER
Holy God, thank You for being perfect, faithful, and reliable. Jesus, You are our Rock. We decide not to lean on our own understanding, but trust You with all of our hearts. We acknowledge and honor You in all of our ways. When darkness invades, we will turn to Your light. When evil arises, we will stand on Your Word. When threats and opposition increase, we will look to You. Jesus, you have all authority, and we pray in Your name, amen.
