40 Days Of Victory

WEEK FOUR – MORE ENCOURAGEMENT
DAY 23

Where To Start
Read Acts 9:23-31 and then watch the DAY TWENTY-THREE video.

Paul had a violent history, including persecuting and killing Christians. Followers of Jesus were scared of him and knew of his reputation. The resurrected Lord appeared to Paul, and he was born again. Anyone who decides to trust Jesus is a new creation. Paul wanted to connect with the believers in Jerusalem, but they didn’t trust him. Barnabas became the bridge. Many people come to church for the first time and need someone to be a bridge for them. Past failure doesn’t define us. Bring the hope and hospitality of Jesus wherever you are.

Who is someone you can invite, include, or connect with today?

VICTORY

Help someone connect with the community of faith.

PRAYER

Gracious God, thank You for Your mercy. You treat us better than we deserve. Forgive us, Lord, for ignoring and being indifferent toward the people you bring into our lives. We don’t want to miss our opportunities because we are afraid or consumed by self-doubt. Break us out of the patterns of the world, we ask. We will take risks in relationships and the gospel. We commit to being kind instead of isolated, in Jesus’ name, amen.
