Paul took Mark on a mission trip, but Mark ended up going home in the middle of the journey. Paul was very disappointed. It was time to begin another trip, and Paul was reluctant to give Mark a second chance. Barnabas wanted to include and encourage Mark. Paul invited Silas, and Barnabas took Mark on separate trips. Later, Paul and Mark would reconcile. Instead of a dispute filled with negativity, two trips were created, resulting in a greater kingdom impact. Be gracious in conflict and see the bigger picture.

PRAYER
Everlasting Father, we are eager to serve You. We want to guard our unity and choose hope. Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace. You call us to be peacemakers. We pray for wisdom in conflict. We pray for our brothers and sisters who disappoint us and mistreat us. May we have Your patience and perseverance, Jesus, we pray. Bring good things out of difficult situations, we ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
