Read Acts 8:6-8 and then watch the DAY THIRTY video.
Philip was serving people in the city of Samaria. He was where God wanted him, doing what God wanted him to do, and saying what God wanted him to say. God was moving in new ways in the city. Lives restored, salvation, freedom from sin and oppression, and the joy of the Lord filled souls. There’s nothing better than being near to God and seeing Him supernaturally work. When we abide with Jesus, we will bear much fruit.
What is one way you can make your city a better place today?
VICTORY
Bring joy to someone in your community.
PRAYER
God, You are our light and shield. Jesus, You are the resurrection and the life. The joy of the Lord is our strength. We are more than conquerors because of Your love. Despair does not come from you. Thank You for being our refuge and an ever-present help in trouble. You are greater than the demons and the lies in our city. God, may You arise and Your enemies be scattered. Thank You that You prevail over evil. We trust You, Jesus, amen.
