He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

DAY TWELVE
True friends lead you to Jesus and always want the best for you. Shallow friends can’t be found in difficult moments because they don’t keep their word, always want something from you, are slow to serve, pull you away from God, and have lots of excuses. There are many obstacles to healing in this story. The house is full, people are blocking access to Jesus, and there is no visible path forward.
It would take something radical – like breaking through the roof.
They catch Jesus’ attention and are welcomed by the Savior. Physical healing, the forgiveness of sins, and a day they will never forget. Love protects, trusts, and never gives up. The friends couldn’t fully anticipate all the blessings that they would be given. They didn’t need to know the entire story.
They knew the One who has been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
The Messiah is in the house, and nearness to Him is the top priority. Don’t settle for less than God’s presence. You have access to the throne of grace.

PRAYER
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we see perfect relationships and unity in You. Thank You that we are made in Your image. We want to love and serve one another as Your family. We want to live as the light of the world and drive out the darkness. Thank you for Your restoration. We praise You Jesus, amen.
