Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
DEVOTIONAL
WEEK 1 – STILL WATERS
DAY FOUR
Jesus wept. Those two words are powerful. It’s the shortest statement in the Bible. Yet there is so much meaning in the simple phrase. Jesus is well-acquainted with sorrow and enters into our pain. Our Savior can relate and truly cares. At the same time, Jesus brought hope to the people who were grieving by declaring that He is the resurrection!
When we feel overwhelmed by life and tragedy, we need God’s eternal perspective.
The devil is an accuser, but the Holy Spirt is our Comforter. Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ, and no one can remove God’s promises. The God of all comfort is with us. Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed. God’s mercy is new every day, His grace is sufficient, and great is the faithfulness of Jesus.
Just Choose Hope
HOPE POINT
God sees your tears, He cares, and He has solutions.
