21 Days Of Healing

WEEK ONE – STILL WATERS
DAY 2 – Guarding Gratitude

Where To Start
Read Luke 17:11-19 and then watch the DAY TWO video.

Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

Luke 17:17-19

DEVOTIONAL

WEEK 1 – STILL WATERS
DAY TWO

Gratitude has many spiritual, physical, relational, and emotional benefits. Gratitude, however, is not primarily about us. We thank Jesus because of who He is and what He has done. Gratitude is relational. God is worthy because all of our blessings come from Him.

Gratitude glorifies God.

When we stop giving thanks, we drift from God and take people for granted. Jesus healed ten men of leprosy, but only one returned to show his appreciation. Be intentional with thanking God.

Avoid an attitude of entitlement.

A gritty gratitude is choosing to thank God when you feel down and don’t have what you want yet, before the new blessings arrive. When you draw close to God with thanksgiving, you will experience peace and renewal.

Just Choose Hope

HOPE POINT

Gratitude protects you from pride.
