Chapter One – FOLLOW JESUS

We are called by God to know Jesus and make Him known. Jesus is the Word and our living hope. Jesus always existed because Jesus is God. Jesus became fully human and God at the same time.

Because He was sinless and because of His great love for us, He died in our place on the cross. Because Jesus is the life and omnipotent, He overcame death. Anyone who decides to follow Jesus has peace with God, eternal life, and is secure in God’s family forever.

The light of Jesus is greater than the darkness of this world and sin.

John the Baptist came to announce the good news about our Lord. Repentance and salvation spread throughout the land. Everyday people, like fisherman, and families responded together to the invitation, making the decision to follow Jesus and lead others to Him. This eternal movement continues today as we glorify God and enjoy His presence in our lives.

It’s time to be fully devoted and share His word where we live, work, learn, and play.

Let’s read the gospel of John, be doers of the word, and pray that God will transform many lives as we share Scripture boldly with people we love.

Just Choose Hope
