Chapter Seven – DECISION TIME

Walking with God includes major and minor decisions every day. Our small steps have massive implications. Cultivate the habit of spending time daily with God in the Bible.

Prioritize and guard time in your schedule.

Less scrolling on our phones, and more praying and communing with our Savior. God wants to renew our minds, hearts, families, and churches. We make decisions to listen to Jesus, believe Jesus, honor Jesus, and live for Jesus in all places during the week. Jesus announced loudly so that everyone at the Feast of Tabernacles could hear the offer of the Holy Spirit and streams of living water. The Old Testament and this national traditional feast led the people to Jesus who is our Rock and Refuge. This significant gathering to remember and celebrate God’s provision in the wilderness has present day implications as well. Jesus is our source of hope, peace, and joy.

Decisions include shifts and intentionally aligning with heaven.

We will never regret trusting Scripture and being faithful to the Lord, even when it’s counter-cultural.

Just Choose Hope

Jesus gives you a significant invitation.

PRAYER

Father God, forgive us for the times we doubt You and rebel against Your word. Jesus, thank You for not giving up on us. Every time we draw near to You is a gift. Where else will we turn? You alone are the Savior of the world. Please help us to believe and explain the wonderful truth about You with our family, friends, and neighbors. We want to make the most of our opportunities for Your glory, amen.
