Chapter Eight – TRUTH AND LIES
Jesus is the truth, only speaks truth, and leads us to the truth. Lies can linger in our minds and hearts, causing incredible destruction. Lies are hope thieves.
Jesus explains that lies are the devil’s native language.
There is a fierce battle between our ears, light versus darkness, and good versus evil. God’s thoughts and ways are higher than ours. It’s time to hear from heaven. What you believe determines the path you choose.
God restores our thought patterns and perspective when we spend time in Scripture.
Jesus extends grace to the woman caught in adultery and guides her towards a new purity and lifestyle. The religious leaders want to kill her, but Jesus sees her potential. The mercy of Jesus is greater than our sin. Abraham was a patriarch, but he can’t forgive our transgressions. Jesus can be trusted, including His insights, commands, pardon, and salvation. Love rejoices with the truth. Everyone on the side of truth will follow Jesus.

PRAYER
Merciful God, in You there is no darkness because You are light. Thank You that You are victorious over the devil and have the final say in all matters. In a confused world, Jesus, You are the truth. In a chaotic culture, You are the Prince of Peace. We reject everything that is opposed to You, and want to fully align with heaven. Jesus, You are the head of the church. You are our Savior and Lord, and we follow You Jesus, amen.
